Language holidays for adults and seniors (UK: England)
(minimum age: 18; special courses for seniors: 55)

Torquay Pavillon Our great language holidays for adults and seniors are in some ways similar to our highly popular junior language holiday and yet they are different.

They are, of course, complete holiday packages that include the journey to the course centre, accommodation, lessons, activities and excursions and much, much more.

However, there are crucial differences. Lessons have, of course, been adapted to the needs of adult students, our extensive free acitivity and excursion programme focuses much more on getting to know the country, its people and its culture instead of on sports and discos. There is a much wider variety of accommodation options, including specially selected host families, hotels, or B&Bs.

Dartmoor National Park All activities are supervised by group leaders. When on an excursion, the leaders or teachers also act as tour guides, which means students will not only learn the language, but they will also benefit from a cultural trip at the same time.

Kents Cavern, Torquay In this way students can combine a language holiday and a cultural holiday. Depending on the course, course location and time of year, students will, for example, visit places such as Cornwall, Dartmoor National Park, London, Stratford-upon-Avon, the Scottish Highlands, Edinburgh Tattoo or Saint-Jean-Pied.
